There was once a girl who grew up amongst the trees in the crisp mountain air.

She loved cute clothes and designing and making things. She started her first business when she was 10.

Well, she grew up, went to University and forgot about all that creativity. She got married to a nice Englishman. They lived in Sydney and London and Dubai and had a fabulous life.

But the most fabulous of all was when they became almost insta-parents to three children. A few years later, after much cajoling from these three kiddos, a new baby arrived.

The girl, now a mama, found herself insanely drawn to prints when choosing clothes for her new family. But they were hard to come by so she started making some herself.

Actually, she started making quilts. And then started making clothes. She realised she was much better at designing clothes than making them and started working with a small factory and people who could really sew.

Aunty Ollie was born. As the business grew and grew, she decided that Quince was a better name for the business.

And here we are. Hello. So nice to see you.

I still have many family members still living amongst the trees in the mountains and I'm thinking of them tonight as they enact bush fire plans and send husbands off to fight fires. Sending love.
